→ Pattern Making & Custom Sewing Styles: Patterns, Construction & Finishes
Pattern Making
At Jeetex, we view pattern making not as a rigid technical step, but as an open creative space where your vision rules. Before even choosing a fabric or a logo, it is the silhouette (the “fit”) that defines the style and comfort of a garment.
Our integrated pattern-making department offers absolute flexibility to create your collection’s patterns, using two distinct approaches adapted to your project’s maturity.
1. Your Tech Pack, Our Precision
If you already possess a comprehensive Tech Pack including a precise size chart, our pattern-making department will follow it to the letter. We translate your data into a faithful production pattern, guaranteeing that the sample and final production match exactly to the volumes and drape you imagined. We scrupulously respect your grading (the size increments) to ensure perfect consistency from XS to XXL.
2. Our Existing Bases, Your Customization
If you do not have a defined size chart, we can utilize our existing patterns. Starting from our tried-and-tested bases (e.g., an oversize t-shirt, a “box fit” hoodie, or a fitted polo) as a starting point, we make the necessary adjustments to match your designs. Since we are a bespoke manufacturing factory, everything is modifiable. We don’t just apply a preset template; we can rework the very structure of the garment, the cut, the panels (yokes), the assembly, and the proportions of every size.
Sewing style & Finishes
In textile manufacturing, a garment’s quality is not judged solely by the fabric’s handfeel, but by the precision of its assembly. The seam is the garment’s architecture: it defines its durability, drape, and final aesthetic. At Jeetex, we believe every detail counts. That is why we offer limitless customization possibilities regarding stitching styles, guaranteeing strict adherence to your specifications and Tech Packs.
The Art of Stitching: Technical & Aesthetic
We adapt the stitch type and thread used to the garment’s function (sport, fashion, workwear) and the desired style. Here are a few examples:
Topstitching: A true design tool, topstitching can be functional or decorative. We perform single, double, or triple needle topstitching (highly popular for workwear or denim). You have total control over placement (collar, armholes, pockets), width (1mm, 5mm, etc.), and especially color: tonal for discretion, or contrast to highlight cut lines.
Bartacks: Indispensable for durability, these high-density reinforcement stitches secure high-tension areas (pocket corners, belt loops, vent extremities). We can make them invisible or, conversely, turn them into an aesthetic detail using bright colored thread for a distinctive technical touch.
Special Stitches: Depending on your needs, we use coverstitch for clean hems on jersey, flatlock (flat seams) for sportswear to prevent chafing, or French seams for an immaculate interior finish.
Construction Finishes: Beyond the Standard
Customization extends to the very structure of the garment’s finishing. We don’t limit ourselves to standards; we shape the garment according to your vision. Examples of finishes include:
Side Slits/Vents: To add ease and style to a polo or parka, we create custom side slits. These can be simple, reinforced with twill tape on the inside, or asymmetrical (with a longer back, known as a “drop tail” style).
Sleeve Cuffs & Hems: Everything is modifiable. You can opt for classic ribbing, double-needle hems, raw edges for a grunge/urban look, or tightening systems with elastic cords and toggles.
Plackets & Collars: The construction of a button placket (hidden, visible, reinforced) or the neatness of a collar seam (with custom neck tape) are executed exactly according to your wishes.
